[[FullName]]: Ok everyone, I am sure there will be some “update” emails that come out over the course of the weekend, but this will be the last “official” one with info you need!
JUST A QUICK FYI, THOSE ON THE 6 PM RETURN FLIGHT FROM NASHVILLE ON MONDAY, SUN COUNTRY IS GIVING THEMSELVES A LITTLE BUFFER AND THEY HAVE PUSHED THE FLIGHT TO 7 PM. You will still get in by 9.
LOOK FOR YOUR BUS MOMS AT BAGGAGE CLAIM UPON ARRIVAL!!! THIS IS FOR ANYONE FLYING WITH US!!
OK, BUSES…
- Two buses will start shuttling people to the COURT OF FLAGS (COF (bottom of Broadway)) starting at 3 PM Friday!! Right across the street from the COF is Nashville Underground and the beginning of one of the best party Streets in the world! HUGE PLACE! You’ll love the top 2 floors!! First and second are awesome too! Better specials on the rooftop! One of the best views in Nashville period! Get up and enjoy the HELL out of yourselves!
- Buses will leave from the “CASCADES DEPOT” which is the blue awning/area you’ll see when you check-in at the hotel at Opryland. Basically, go to check-in desks, walk outside, go to the left. Stay under the cover for our buses. OUR BUSES WILL SAY ANCHOR TRANSPORTATION on them!
- After that, the buses will head immediately to the Inn at Opryland and pick up there as well.
- They will run downtown continually until about 7 PM, then will start coming back for pick-ups at the COF every half hour (or as close to it as they can get). Friday evening/night downtown can have some traffic. If you want a free ride back to Opryland, you need to head back there to get it. They will run until midnight!
- Starting at 6 PM on Saturday, they will start running to Hopsmith and Mid-town. They will not wait at Hopsmith. They will come right back to Opryland and will do this until 9 PM when we hope to stage one bus at Opryland and one bus at Hopsmith. At that point again, every half hour on the :30 and the :00 until midnight.
That’s all you need to know about buses.
Finally, a little about the hotel and a request. The Gaylord is really cool people. The elevators are death traps and you’ll find that out, but everything else, awesome. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND when you arrive, you get “LOST!” There is so much to do here including a riverboat ride, bars everywhere, shopping, restaurants everywhere, and just cool $h1t to see. We agreed to come here out of downtown because it’s its own town by itself. Enjoy it! ENJOY IT, BUT NO EAGLES CHANTS AFTER 11 PM!! Everything is an echo chamber here. Someone will wind up complaining, you’ll get caught, they’ll throw you out. Don’t let that happen.
For those of you at the Inn at Opryland, your place isn’t anything to shake a stick at either. Cool indoor area but all of the action is across the street. Shuttles run constantly over there. Come over and get lost here too. You have access to ALL amenities here.
Finally, BE NICE TO PEOPLE DOWN HERE!!! They are absolute sweethearts. Those of you who are not sitting next to other Eagles fans will find that if you aren’t a typical Philly pr1ck, you’ll make friends all over the place down here. Some of you could use some more. Have fun and enjoy southern hospitality, and BE NICE to everyone, especially other Eagles fans. I have concluded that my BS in Finance and Marketing from Drexel is useless as I am an adult babysitter for a living now, but that doesn’t mean I need to do that this weekend. This isn’t hostile territory and if you act like a normal human being, you’ll be treated like GOLD!! Let that happen to you!!
