Well, Arlington, actually!
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT OUR RESERVATION SYSTEM POPULATES YOUR NAME HERE SO THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL EMAIL FROM ME TO YOU...IT GOES OUT TO EVERYONE. ONLY RESPOND IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION THAT NEEDS ANSWERING BUT I SHOULD COVER MOST OF WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW NOW.
I also always say these will be short and sweet, but they usually aren't, BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE WILL NOT RESPOND TO QUESTIONS THAT WERE ALREADY ANSWERED HERE. We spend a lot of time preparing this and we expect you take 3-4 minutes to read this and get acclimated with the program. Appreciate you doing this in advance.
I'll give you bullet points to make it shorter:
* IN ARLINGTON, YOU WILL RECEIVE TAILGATE BADGES AND GREEN LEGION WRISTBANDS FOR THE SPECIALS AT BOILING TAILS. TIMES FOR PICK UP ARE THE FOLLOWING:
* SATURDAY, 5:00 - 7:00 PM AT THE SHERATON ARLINGTON HOTEL LOBBY BAR
* SUNDAY, 6:00 - 7:00 PM AT THE SHERATON ARLINGTON HOTEL LOBBY BAR
* MONDAY, 3:30 - 6:00 PM AT THE TAILGATE
* PUT YOUR WRISTBAND ON AND LEAVE IT ON...YOU ONLY GET ONE PER PERSON!
* TAILGATE LOCATION IS AT 816 N Collins St, Arlington, TX 76011 BEHIND BOILING TAILS!
* TAILGATE MONDAY STARTS AT 3:30 PM!!
* YOUR GAME TICKETS WILL BE IN YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT, PROBABLY ON SATURDAY. I HAVE 5 TICKETS I'M STILL TRYING TO SELL AND ONCE THAT IS COMPLETE, I WILL DO THE SEATING CHART. IF ANYONE HAS ANY ISSUES ACCESSING THEIR TICKETS, LET ME KNOW AND I WILL WALK YOU THROUGH IT. EVERYTHING IS DIGITAL NOW!
* If you are on the 7:15 AM flight with us into Dallas, follow me to baggage claim after the flight and I will get everyone to the bus.
* Marilyn will designate a "bus mom" for the later flight. There are only 10 of you on that one and Marilyn will make sure you all know what to do there.
* We are walking distance to Six Flags Over Texas, Hurricane Harbor, and Texas Live! There will be no discounts at Texas Live but we do have calls into Six Flags and HH and hoping they will offer. Texas Live is their version of Xfinity Live.
* THANKFULLY, our LONG-TIME FRIEND Kris Randolph, owner of Boiling Tails, the bar in front of our tailgate location Monday, has offered to house us with a special all weekend so they are now the Official Green Legion Headquarters! It's a great seafood restaurant that is a bit of a walk from the hotel, but you could do it if you're ambitious. I would take the $8.00 Uber X. I will let you know the drink specials tomorrow.
* Sunday night, we are going to have a Pep Rally Party at Boiling Tails starting at 8 PM!! These are always a blast! Remember, the late game starts at 7:20 PM in Texas so if you want to get over and get seated by the TV you'd like to watch, I say head there at 7.
* Hollis Thomas will be joining us the entire time and we will be broadcasting the FOX Sports Radio Pregame Show from our tailgate location!
* This is a joint tailgate with Dallas Cowboy fans. I have been questioned about this in the past and I will tell you first, most people in Dallas are absolute sweethearts...It's the Cowboys fans in Philly that try to drive it home a little harder. And I'm sure a couple of you are on this trip but you get a hall pass this weekend because you traveled with us, lol. ON A SERIOUS NOTE, WE FOLLOW EDDIE DEAN AND WHEREVER HE COOKS!! In 19 seasons, we have never used anyone in Dallas other than him, and this is the tailgate where he hangs his hat. THE FOOD IS RIDICULOUS and the vibe is great. ON THAT NOTE, THE PARKING LOTS AND THE STREETS SURROUNDING THE STADIUM ARE FILLED WITH A$$HOLES!! JERRY OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT DO BACKGROUND CHECKS ON HIS SEASON TICKET HOLDERS!! There will be at least 15 of Texas's finest at the tailgate and I know it's safe and that is truly the most important element I always try to address. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO I WANT ANYONE TAKING THE JAWWING TO ANOTHER LEVEL ESPECIALLY AT OUR TAILGATE!! FOR YOUR SAFETY AS WELL, I'VE SEEN TOO MANY OF THESE THINGS GO HAYWIRE, SO WALK AWAY FROM SITUATIONS EVEN IF IT HURTS YOUR PRIDE A LITTLE, AND GET ME! TANK AND I WILL HANDLE IT!!
