With the largest trade in Eagles history taking place in April, it now leaves the stage for two of the biggest games of the year, and also, a newly invigorated rivalry with our division opponents, the Washington Redskins! I do think there is a level of hatred for all teams in our division, but the Redskins just haven't been a threat for so many years, it's difficult to despise them as much as the Cowboys and to me secondly, the Giants!
It's now an entire different story with Donovan McNabb making his departure from the Eagles after 11 years. Personally, I loved the trade. I know many agree and many disagree, but I don't believe you get anything other than the bronze medal with this guy and I believe you have to give Kolb a shot at this offense. What does that mean when it comes to this day trip? It means I thank you Donovan for all the good times and appreciate you being an upstanding individual and spokesman for the city of Philadelphia...At the same time, you're as good to me now as ANY Dallas Cowboy or ANY New York Giant or ANY Washington Redskin!!
