THE GREEN LEGION INVADES NASHVEGAS (NASHVILLE), OCTOBER 22ND-25TH, 2010!!!
I called this out as the trip of all trips for the 2010 season and next to San Francisco, it's accurate!! With over 300 people ALREADY signed up for this trip as of Friday, April 23rd, this is going to be a HELL of good time!!
| Please allow me to explain Nashville to you! Yes, lots of country music, but also lots of rock'n'roll! The fact is, all of it is LIVE and I'm a big fan of live. Maybe it's because many things moving around keeps my attention (just like Stewie)! Every place you go to has a band all the time and once at the bars, everything is within walking distance! The streets are 2nd & Broadway, and that is pretty much all you need to know other than Wild Horse which is right around the corner! Southern hospitality and great barbecue is everywhere, and you will enjoy some of the sites immensely!! |  |
So, Friday, what do we do? Well, due to Vanderbilt's homecoming (which isn't a bad thing), all of the downtown hotels are booked up. Nothing we can do there, but that's ok because it is allowing us the opportunity to stay at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel, and in an effort to make sure there is no inconvenience to you, I am hiring transportation services (more than likely school or shuttle buses) for YOU for FREE both Friday and Saturday night. The hotel is located only 3 miles from to 2nd & Broadway, so you won't be missing anything!! If you need a little more to describe this, just look at this photo:
Friday night around 8 PM, we will head down to Broadway for the coolest live music bar crawl you guys have ever seen! Roberts, Legends, Layla's, Tootsie's, the Stage, and our friends at Bailey's Irish Pub where the GM is a HUGE Eagles fan!! All these bars are right next to each other, all on the same block!!
Saturday, just in case there was something else you really wanted to do, we will be running a ticket and tailgate package for the South Carolina/Vanderbilt homecoming game! Tickets are very inexpensive and you can choose any seat in the house right now. There are plenty available everywhere in the stadium, some starting as low as $26! Just something to keep in mind.
Saturday night, well, let me tell you about the venue our pep rally party will be located! Our friends at McFadden's in Nashville have agreed to let us have our party there and you know they party well! We currently have about 525 people signed up for Nashville and honestly, is growing pretty fast. For whatever reason, the push is coming NOW as opposed to last year when the San Diego push came in April! McFadden's can hold 700 people so we are making that our location!
Sunday, of course, will see a true southern barbecue tailgate down at the stadium, the likes of what you expect to have while in "The South!"
Since we have a number of flights ranging in price from $226 to $330, what we will do here is show you our package prices WITHOUT AIR. After you sign up, we will send you all of our available flights in an email within 48hrs of your signup to let you choose your top 2 selectttttttttttttttttttttttttttttions, then you will simply add that number to the package price!!
