The Green Legion Invades Washington DC on November 6th!!! Here is a great little getaway and a perfect opportunity to start evening out the Green Legion's record this year. D.C. is only a few hours away. So here we come!! This great little trip will start on Saturday, November 5th when we depart Philadelphia via charter bus heading for the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. If you have ever been, you no how fun the I.H. is and on Saturday night during football season, it's a haven for Ravens' and Redskins' fans. What better than to drop 50 or so Eagles fans in the middle to make the night a little more interesting. We will be staying at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel right on the waterfront. Cross over the skywalk and you are amongst a mass of bars and restaurants that can't wait to hear Eagles' cheers. After we wake up and gradually lick our wounds from the night before, we will load the bus again and head to FEDEX Field to watch as our NFC East adversaries attempt to slow down the best passing game in the NFL. We should arrive at the lot approximately 6-7 hours before game time with plenty of food and beer for everyone to enjoy. Then, we head into the game to watch a good ole' Washington thumping! Immediately following the game, we will load the buses and head back to Philly getting us in around 2:00-2:30 AM on Monday morning. You won't have to burn a work day for this as you will have time to go home, sleep, and wake up to get to work on time. Unfortunately, tickets for this game are very expensive because the Skins actually have a winning record right now. Broker prices, which is where I am getting tickets, are running around $200 a pop. I don't think you will get better prices because they won't go down in that much time. Each package includes the following: Charter Bus to Baltimore, FEDEX Field, and back to Philadelphia 4 people to a room - $325 ( I will pair up two-somes)
